Masthead:
The masthead is always at the top of the page. The font used in feature spreads is serif which is usually considered informal. The color used for the mastheads is pink which is considered feminine and will attract the eyes of the target audience. Sometimes, the celebrities picture is placed on top of the of the masthead and the buyer still knows the magazine is Glamour which shows they are a well established and respected magazine. 

Main Photo:
The main photo is usually a mid shot of a celebrity. In most cases, the model is wearing natural face makeup with a pop of color in the eyes or lips. Furthermore, the celebrity is making direct eye contact with the buyer, this combined with the makeup look attracts the audience as they feel a direct connection with the model. The background of the imagine is a solid color that contacts well with the outfit the model is wearing the the font. 

Color Scheme:
The color scheme used in these feature covers is feminine one. The magazine uses colors like pink, white, black and gold which compliment each other and attract the eyes of women. Furthermore, these colors compliment the model's outfit and overall look.

Words:
Puff words are used in magazines to catch the attention of a certain audience. For example, in the Rihanna feature cover they use the words "Your Sexy New Hair Looks", the attracts women because everyone wants to have new and sexy hair. This makes the audience feel like by buying and reading the magazine they can achieve the perfect hair look. Another example is the Kate Winslet cover, the magazine uses the words "Win them all", which allow the audience to believe that they have a chance at winning a thousand beauty products by purchasing that magazine.
